What we collect

When you give online we collect your name, email address, the amount, currency, frequency and the programme you chose. When you contact us we collect what you type: name, email, subject and message. When you subscribe to the newsletter we collect your email address. The website sets no analytics or advertising cookies.

Payments

Card and mobile money payments are processed by Paystack. Your card number and mobile money PIN go to Paystack directly, never to our servers; we receive a reference, the amount and the status of the payment. Paystack’s own privacy notice applies to the payment itself.

Why

To process and acknowledge your gift, send receipts and the reports we promise donors, answer your message, and send the newsletter you asked for. We do not sell or share personal data for marketing.

Where it goes

Donation summaries, messages and subscriptions are delivered by email through our transactional email provider and stored in the Foundation’s mailboxes. Spam protection on the forms uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process your IP address to tell people from bots.

How long

Donation records are kept for as long as accounting and charity regulations require. Messages are kept for up to two years after the last contact. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any letter or by emailing us.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@veccel.org. This notice is issued by Veccel Foundation, Ningo-Prampram, Ghana, and will be expanded as registration completes. TODO: confirm the data controller details and registration.
